Yes — your license is tied to your email, not to a specific machine. Use it on every Mac that's reasonably yours. We don't run an activation server that enforces a machine count.

You can lock one folder with unlimited files, as long as it has no subfolders. Everything else — the engine, the UX, biometric unlock, auto-relock, the watchdog — is identical to the paid version. It's not crippled; it's small.
Never. It's a one-time purchase. If we ship a v2 in two years and you want to upgrade, you can — at our discretion, with an upgrade discount. There's no automatic renewal because there's no subscription.
